I haven't read this in a while. Since then, I've gotten divorced, moved downtown. I have a day job, not a book contract. During the pandemic my hair grew out and I gained twenty pounds (maybe more...). My kids have moved out and are living on their own. My daughter is a stylish big city girl. She loves museums, concerts and going out. She lives in an urban paradise. My son loves fishing and skiing and has an outdoor cat names Boots. He lives in an outdoors paradise.
I love my improv classes, as challenging as they are. I play pickleball--not well--but it is fun. I embroider and wish I read more than I spend time on my phone playing NYT games. I am working to find peace and serenity, feel my feelings, and be kind to others. I meditate every day.
I found this quilted heart in my neighborhood. People make quilted hearts and leave them around cities to see who finds them. |

This is a picture of me and the family my dog, Fox. This picture was taken in my writing shed/studio in the back yard built by Carl the Carpenter. While this writing shed might be an indulgence, it was far less expensive than buying a bigger house.
This blog is where I sharpen my pen. It is my creative inner space. If you are interested in my outer space (ha ha ha), check out my LinkedIn profile.
