I read
somewhere
that
sitting in a sauna
four times a week
will prevent
dementia.
So I go to the sauna
Downstairs
in my health club
telling myself
"this is good for me."
Why can't I just go
because it is fun
and warm
and relaxing,
making me happy
and bringing me peace?
Why can't
that
be enough?
Or is it
the other way
around?
Maybe the sauna is good for me
because it is good for me
like reading a book
or tending a garden
or calling a friend
or holding a dog
or sunshine.
Maybe it is good
because it is good.
